Someone bought a painting from me last year.
They told me later:
"I cry every time I look at it. Not because it's sad. But because it reminds me of something I can't put into words."
That's not realism.
That's resonance.
And resonance is what I paint for.
If a painting doesn't move you, it's just decoration.
If it does, it becomes part of your life.
